For more than 20 years, the owner — Ted Stinson — has proudly manufactured wooden trains, planes, and boat kits made from Maine lumber. Stinson has been steadfast in using quality wood when many businesses have switched to plastics. The designs are authentic and superior craftsmanship are the reason why so many families invest in these boat kits. Our first model boat kit, for a radio controlled model sailboat, was introduced in 1972.
